From Then Till Now: History of East Valley Arizona
Metro Phoenix's progressive East Valley owes its success to a few individuals who believed in their dreams and transformed the desert into what we see today. Winfield Scott, AJ Chandler, and the ranchers and farmers built schools, hydroelectric power plants, and the Theodore Roosevelt Dam, to name a few accomplishments. Their work was instrumental in transforming the Valley into what we know today.
Employment and Commuting
The Wall Street Journal in the 1980s described East Valley as one of the most vibrant growth centers in the United States. East Valley grew from a farming community into a thriving town full of opportunity. Established companies like Intel, Boeing, Apple, and Google join the ranks of new and growing companies.
There are many ways we get around the East Valley and visit the neighboring towns and cities. There is the Phoenix transit bus and the Metro Rail. Of course, there's the Loop 101 (Price Freeway) and the Loop 202 (San Tan Freeway). Earnhardt CDJR is easy to find since it's just off the freeway.
