Performance
Minivans have never been known for performance, but that all changed with the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica. A more efficient, upgraded 3.6L V6 engine produces a strong 287 horsepower through its nine-speed automatic transmission. There’s also a Pacifica Hybrid model, which offers an EPA-estimated 22 MPG combined fuel economy, with 30 miles of electric-only range and an overall 84 MPGe.
Unlike its competitors, the 2018 Pacifica offers a smooth ride and capable handling, despite its considerable weight and wheelbase. The 2018 Chrysler Pacifica comes in six trim levels: The L base model, the LX, the Touring Plus, the Touring-L, the Touring L Plus, and the Limited, all which are well-equipped for the price.
Standard features for the Pacifica include a 7-inch touchscreen audio system, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ smartphone capability, a rear-view camera, air conditioning, blind-spot monitoring, and parking sensors. Moving up to the LX adds the second-row Stow ’n Go® seats, steering-wheel-mounted controls, tri-zone climate control, and a power driver’s seat.
