An Arizona Shop with Maine Roots

Lighthouse Flower Shop began in 1961 when florist Hope Griffin moved from Presque Isle, ME, to Mesa, AZ, and opened a flower shop there. Over the years, the shop has been passed down from generation to generation. Today, Hope’s granddaughters, Lisa and Zoë, run the place full-time.

They’re a full-service flower shop specializing in weddings and funerals, but will make bouquets for all occasions, including Valentine’s Day. You can get the Beary Pretty Posies, which comes with a cute teddy bear. There’s also Crimson and Lace, which is a gorgeous array of 12 white carnations and six red roses with a variety of greenery.
