Fall Festivals Happening in the Southeast Valley

Just because summer is winding down doesn’t mean that the fun in the Southeast Valley has to stop. Actually, there are quite a few events that are coming up that you may want to check out. These events are for all types of people and their family and friends. So without further ado, here’s a list of some fall festivals happening in the Southeast Valley.

16th Annual Constitution Fair

50 East Civic Center Drive, Gilbert, AZ  *  September 16, 2017  *  6:00 PM to 9:30 PM

If you’re a fan of early American history, you won’t want to miss out on the 16th Annual Constitution Fair. This fair celebrates the founding of our country. You’ll get to see educational displays, family-friendly games, Revolutionary War reenactments, national monument replicas, and of course, Gilbert’s largest fireworks display to close out the evening. Schnepf Farms Pumpkin & Chili Party

There’s nothing quite like spending a nice October day picking pumpkins, and that’s what you can do at the Schnepf Farms Pumpkin & Chili Party that’s happening for a month, so you’ll have ample opportunity to join in on the festivities. This event will feature hayrides, pumpkin carving, a 4-acre corn maze, and live entertainment. Enjoy some classic chili while watching the Extreme Canine Dog Show or Hillbilly Bob’s Pig Races. And be sure to stay for the bonfire and marshmallow roasting that’ll occur.

Oktoberfest at Tempe Town Lake

Tempe Beach Park, West Rio Salado Parkway and North Mill Avenue  *  October 13-15, 2017

When October rolls around, you know that’s when all the good beer comes out. Of course, you could see this for yourself by checking out Oktoberfest at Tempe Town Lake. This festival will feature a variety of classic German brews and cuisine for you to enjoy while you listen to the live music at the festival. There’s even a Kinderfest, for the under-21 crowd, which will feature a dachshund race and fun activities. Admission is free, but the beer and food will be for sale by the festival vendors.

28th Annual Arizona Classic Jazz Festival

Crowne Plaza San Marcos Golf Resort, One San Marcos Place, Chandler, AZ  *  November 2-5, 2017  *  10:30 AM to 11:00 PM; Sun 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Do you love jazz? If so, then you might want to consider checking out the Arizona Classic Jazz Festival happening this November. This 4-day festival will feature hundreds of different performances at the Crowne Plaza San Marcos Golf Resort in Chandler. The festival will take up different banquet rooms in the hotel, including San Marcos, La Ventana, San Tan, and even the Patio. There will be plenty of opportunities to watch different styles of jazz throughout the weekend from performers all over the world.
