The 2016 RAM 1500 provides many miles to every gallon to keep a driver's bank account healthy. The 2016 1500 is a great, fuel-efficient pickup truck destined to exceed your work and transportation necessities. 2016 brings a few renovations for the vehicle: We have a fairly new Laramie Limited model, first offered in the middle of 2015 with a Rebel model. For each 2016 1500 we see an almost entirely new center console composition as well. There are three new exterior colors available this year, which are Luxury Brown, Red Pearl and Pearl White. The 2016 1500's manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) begins at $25,410, along with what could be a $1,195 destination fee. Due to the number of available Cabs, as well as other features, you can seriously personalize the pickup! Quad and Crew Cab models are made at Warren Truck Assembly Plant in Warren, Michigan. More Crew Cab and all Regular Cab models come out of Saltillo Assembly Plant in Saltillo, Mexico. You should keep reading to learn more about the 2016 1500, likely out on the floor by November, 2015 (if not before)!
How it is Powered
The 2016 1500 presents good warranties for the available engines, offering 5 years/60,000 miles with gas engines, and 5 years/100,000 miles on diesels. Your automatic transmission will offer eight speeds to help you to your destination. You'll have a thermal management unit, and pulse-width modulation that will cut down on your parasitic electric load, so that the alternator will be carrying less weight, and so that benefitting components will have longer lives. You will have active aerodynamics, which include air suspension and grille shutters. The pickup truck's variable displacement compressor variates its pumping for providing air conditioning needs while simultaneously causing the engine to work the best it can. The RAM 1500 Rebel--one of the 1500's models--has off-road-ready features such as tow hooks, 33-inch tires and a high ground clearance. The 2016 1500 may tow up to 9,200 pounds worth of equipment behind it. The 2016 1500 might have a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V-6 to make it an environmentally-friendly vehicle, as the truck will provide up to 29 miles per gallon (mpg) with the engine. The truck has fuel-saving technology as well. The EcoDiesel engine also provides a maximum of 420 lb-ft of torque and 240 horsepower, however, the standard engine is a 5.7-liter V-8 HEMI that might provide hemispherical combustion chambers, a maximum of 22 mpg highway, 410 lb-ft of torque and 395 horsepower. A 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine exists too, and provides a maximum of 25 mpg highway, and 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque.
You can purchase the 2016 1500 in one of eleven exterior colors, which are all available in monotone and/or two-tone, and the availabilities are dependent on the model you buy. Sport buzz models allow an owner to personalize the truck, selecting from many different colors to do so. You may get bed lighting with bright LEDs, which are in the back corners near the tailgate to give people great visibility when conducting nighttime driving with stuff in the pickup. As mentioned above, the 2016 model gives us the option of a Laramie Limited make-up with Argento wood, a Premium badge and leather. The Laramie Longhorn's tambour door "copies" the Laramie Limited's. Both the Rebel and Laramie Limited models have grille compositions that will impress people. The Rebel has a black off-road bumper with a powder-coated surface, as well as a tire-tread-matching pattern and Radar red and black seats with some other new colors and materials. The truck's humidity sensor is behind the rearview mirror, and works with the vehicle's variable displacement compressor and a pulse-width modulated blower to measure the humidity on your interior windshield. The humidity sensor will defog your truck's interior to allow you more visibility when driving. Entry-level radios will provide hands-free driving through Bluetooth, so you will be able to keep both hands on the wheel if having a conversation via cell phone.
